The Royal Show site proved to be our best opportunity to be on Show for the public and as a meeting place and point of interest for members. The site has been booked again and I hope the person elected to this position will make the most of this opportunity. I remind members to bring their photo boards in to be on display, last year we had a lot of enquiries about Cobs. We had a lot of overseas visitors many attracted by the Welsh flag flying. Our sales were over $1000-00 and the cost of the site was mostly covered by generous donations from The President and The Patron Thank you Lois Newick for taking time off work and providing your truck to help me get the tables ect and set up the site I also had a site at the Canterbury Welsh Pony & Cob Show and the Canterbury Horse and Pony Breeders Show. Thank you to Sandra Evers and her brother, for providing and erecting a tent for me to use, Kelvin came back at the end of the day to take it down again. Every one at the Shows is so busy there was little time to visit the site and sales were mainly books that had been ordered at the Royal Show. I am happy to accept nomination to do this job again.
